About this island
Chomedey is a district in the southwest of Laval, Quebec. It was once a separate city but became part of Laval in 1965. The area is known for its diverse communities, including Jewish, Christian, Muslim, Portuguese, Lebanese, Algerian, Moroccan, Syrian, Egyptian, Haitian, Italian, Armenian, and the largest Greek community in Quebec.base
