In the fourth Chapter of Fortnite's Battle Royale, go forth in a new realm and get around in new ways — ride a dirt bike, roll in a snowball, launch yourself with the Shockwave Hammer, and hurdle over obstacles. Power yourself up with Reality Augments and claim territory for your squad, leaving behind Banners to declare what’s yours. And of course, venture with newly-forged weapons.
The New Island: Your Domain… But Also Your Enemies’
After the events of Chapter 3’s finale, a new Island has formed. Venture to places like The Citadel of “The Ageless,” the Shattered Slabs mining facility, the Brutal Bastion among the mountains, and more.
Steer Your Dirt Bike Steed
Need to get to The Citadel from Brutal Bastion, or maybe to Shattered Slabs from the industrial “Slappy Shores”? Ride the trusty, two-wheel “Trail Thrasher.” Perform tricks on this dirt bike and use weapons as you’re riding.
Fortify Yourself with Reality Augments
At intervals in your match, you’ll be given a randomized choice of “Reality Augments.” The longer you remain in the match, the more Reality Augments you’ll collect. Reality Augments can do things like grant you Glider redeploy for the rest of the match, give you different weapons, let you drive without using fuel, and more!
Go Forth by Hurdling Forward
If you sprint at obstacles, you'll now hurdle over or onto them. Use this slick maneuver in your pursuit of victory.
Seize a New Slate of Weapons
Venture with a fresh set of weapons on the Island. You’ll see returning ones too, but what’s new includes the blade-firing “Ex-Caliber Rifle,” the far-launching “Shockwave Hammer,” the intense “Thunder Shotgun,” plus the “Twin Mag SMG,” “Maven Auto Shotgun,” “Red-Eye Assault Rifle,” and “Tactical Pistol.”
Claim Your Territory
Conquer with your squad. Stay in a POI’s capture point long enough and your team’s Banners will be put on display, marking your team’s control of the POI. The squad that claims the POI will be rewarded with loot! In a POI under your squad’s claim, Chests and opponents will be marked. Just watch out for anyone who tries to claim it first…
Make Nature Your Ally
Need a strategic way to attack? Pull off physics sorcery with “Kinetic Ore,” or roll at opponents inside a snowball. Need a pick-me-up after you’ve been attacked? Eat the refreshing “Slap Berries” to gain Effective Health, plus short-term unlimited Energy regen to stay sprinting longer.
Chapter 4 Season 1 Battle Pass
Embark on the bus of battle with a new cast of combatants. With this Season’s Battle Pass purchase, you’ll immediately unlock the “Selene” Outfit. Progress through the Battle Pass to unlock other Outfits including the in-your-nightmares “Doom Slayer,” the ruler “The Ageless,” and more. Later in the Season, “Geralt of Rivia” himself will become unlockable.
