FNCS Major 2 Format

FNCS Major 2 will not be using the Divisional Cup system from FNCS Major 1, in an effort to allow more players to compete in FNCS.

In case you missed it, North American players will compete under one unified competitive region, North America, instead of the previously split regions, NA-East and NA-West. For more information on this, please see our “Announcing the NA-Central Server Region for Fortnite” blog post where we first announced this change.

Weekly Competition

  • April 13-16
  • April 20-23
  • April 27-30

For each weekly FNCS Major 2 competition, the top 200 highest points-earning duos from Round 1 will advance to that week’s Round 2 session. Following the conclusion of the Round 2 session, the top 50 highest points-earning duos from each region will advance to that week’s FNCS Major 2 Weekly Finals.

Each duo that participates in the furthest round and/or stage reached for a given weekly FNCS Major 2 competition will be awarded Series Points based on their results from that week. The top 40 duos (in other words, the 40 duos who’ve earned the highest cumulative Series Points on the Series Leaderboard across Weeks 1, 2, and 3) will qualify for the FNCS Major 2 Grand Finals.

FNCS Major 2 Surge Week

  • May 5-7

Duos who place 41st through 90th on the Series Leaderboard after the three weeks of FNCS Major 2 weekly competition will advance to the FNCS Major 2 Surge Week. These duos will compete in five FNCS Major 2 Surge Week matches for an extra opportunity to earn one of the last spots in the FNCS Major 2 Grand Finals.

The five duos who claim a Victory Royale during any one of the Major 2 Surge Week matches will advance to the Major 2 Grand Finals, and the next 6th through 10th duos with the most points on the Leaderboard will also advance to the Grand Finals.

FNCS Major 2 Grand Finals

  • May 12-14
