With NVIDIA’s GeForce NOW service, play Fortnite through cloud streaming on Windows PC, macOS, iOS Safari, Android phones and tablets, Android TV, NVIDIA SHIELD TV, supported Samsung TVs, and select LG TV models! GeForce NOW can be accessed for free if players choose a free GeForce NOW membership.
All GeForce NOW players can play Fortnite with touch controls on mobile. Prefer a different control input? You can play with a keyboard-and-mouse on most GeForce NOW-supported devices, and play with a controller on all GeForce NOW-supported devices!
Because GeForce NOW streams games via the cloud, it still works well on most low-end devices as long as you have a high-speed, low-latency, and stable internet connection. Check out our FAQ below to learn more about playing Fortnite on GeForce NOW.
NVIDIA offers different GeForce NOW membership types, including a free one. See GeForce NOW’s membership page to learn the details of each membership type, including price, gameplay session length, priority of accessing game servers, and graphics & performance.
After selecting a membership type, you’ll be prompted to log into your NVIDIA account or create one. (Creating an NVIDIA account is free.)
After you’re signed up for the service, you can play Fortnite via cloud streaming on GeForce NOW by using a native GeForce NOW app or a web browser. The service offers individual apps for Windows PC, macOS, Android, Android TV, and LG TVs.
The apps for Windows PC and macOS can be downloaded from the GeForce NOW download page, the apps for Android and Android TV can be downloaded from the Google Play Store, and the app for LG TV can be downloaded from the LG Content Store.
The supported browsers for GeForce NOW are: Chrome (for playing on Chromebook, PC, and Mac), iOS Safari (for playing on iPhone and iPad), and Edge.
GeForce NOW games, including Fortnite, can be launched from the NVIDIA Games app on SHIELD TV.
On supported Samsung TVs, GeForce NOW can be accessed through the Samsung Gaming Hub.
Yes! You just need to make sure your NVIDIA account is linked to the same Epic account you use on other platforms. To link your Epic account to your NVIDIA account, first log into your NVIDIA account on PC, Mac, or web, then click on the “accounts connected” tile in the MY LIBRARY row or go to SETTINGS > CONNECTIONS > Epic Games > CONNECT.
Once your accounts are linked, you’ll automatically log into Fortnite with your Epic account when launching Fortnite on GeForce NOW. Your progress will also transfer to other platforms you use your Epic account on.
If you're a child, you may need your parents’ permission to link accounts.
On Windows PC, macOS, Android TV, NVIDIA SHIELD TV, supported Samsung TVs, and LG TVs, all current Fortnite games are available to play on GeForce NOW from the cloud, including Battle Royale/Zero Build, Save the World, and community-made games.
