Build faster with UEFN source assets, now on Fab

Starting today, you can license UEFN source assets on Fab. Source assets are complete, editable systems—AI and NPC behaviors, vehicles, weapons, UI, and environments—many of which are built with Verse and Scene Graph. Unlike reference files, they open directly in UEFN and you can edit them right away, cutting down on the time spent rebuilding systems that already exist.

Browse what's live on Fab, or find source assets in the Fab window without leaving UEFN.

A look at what’s live today

Here are a few of the UEFN source assets you can license on Fab right now.

Verse UI Kit—from Epic: A free collection of UMG widgets and Verse classes for building UI in UEFN. Build your screens from the kit's widgets, then drive them from Verse. It includes buttons, toggles, sliders, tabs, toasts, and composite examples like dialog boxes, settings panels, and menu grids. You also get example screens with the Verse code behind them, plus a helper library for common UI needs. Use it as is, restyle it to fit your island, or open it up to see how the Verse works.

Pathfinder—from TrickTyger: An animated arrow trail that leads players to a target, then advances to the next one when they arrive. Built for tutorials, quest chains, and "go here next" hints. It runs entirely on Scene Graph entities and a single Verse component. Set the color, speed, and arrow style for each step, and point it at an entity, a prop, or a world position.

Environment Packs—from Dexsoft Games: Production-ready environments you can drop straight into a project, so you can start on gameplay instead of building a world from scratch. Includes a modular urban office, a fully furnished bowling alley, and a sci-fi control room.

That's a sample of the UEFN source assets available on Fab today, with new assets and systems uploaded regularly.

How licensing works

  1. Find the asset you want on Fab, or browse Fab from inside UEFN.
  2. Review the licensing details and restrictions, select the license you need, and check out. The asset lands in your Fab library and stays there.
  3. Add it to your project in UEFN and start editing.

The Fab team reviews every listing to ensure it meets UEFN technical standards before it’s published, and customer reviews from fellow developers will help you choose with confidence.

Publishing your own source assets

If you've already made prefabs, systems, or other assets developers could use, you can publish them on Fab and earn 88% revenue share on every sale. Only publish work you made or have the rights to sell.

Already a Fab publisher? Create your listing in the Publishing Portal. New to Fab? Become a Fab publisher first, and upload your first listing. Contact Fab support if you hit a snag.

For a deeper dive, watch the Build UEFN Source Assets livestream on Friday, October 16 at 2 PM ET. Epic’s Derek Diaz, UI/UX Director, and Martín de Greiff, Creator Success Manager, take a source asset through the whole round trip—building it in UEFN, publishing it on Fab, then licensing it back and using it in a project.
