Welcome to a brand new season of Fortnite! Here’s what you need to know heading into Chapter 3 Season 3 Competitive Fortnite.
The FNCS Invitational
Did you miss the announcement? We’ll be hosting the FNCS Invitational 2022 in Raleigh, North Carolina, USA, on November 12 and 13. Performing well in this upcoming FNCS may get you an invite to this event. Check out the full FNCS Invitational announcement for more information.
Arena Rewards
The Chapter 3 Season 2 Arena rewards will be granted to players on June 8 based on their final Arena Division ranking on June 8. Players this season can expect a similar reward this season and we’ll grant this season’s rewards after the season has concluded. We’ll have more information on the exact rewards at a later date.
Arena Preseason
The Arena Preseason will last just over two weeks and Hype will reset on June 21. During this time, players will still have a chance to compete in Lightning Cups, and Performance
Evaluations on NA-East. We intend to use this time to hone in on making competitive adjustments in a faster manner than in previous seasons.

If you’ve already popped in-game, you’ll notice we’ve got several of our competitive offerings in the Compete Tab for the entire season, including FNCS.
FNCS Schedule
Qualifier 1: July 6-10
Qualifier 2: July 11, 13-15
Qualifier 3: July 16-18
FNCS Semi-Finals: July 21-24
FNCS Finals: August 12-14

We’ll have more details to share about FNCS at a later date, but we wanted to get this schedule to you immediately this season.
Weekly Competitive Offerings
Week-to-week, our competitive offerings may change slightly, but you can expect a similar schedule to the weekly cadence below.
Mondays: Solo Cash Cup - Round 1, Console Solo Cash Cup - Round 1, Solo Hype Cup
Tuesdays: Lightning Cups and NA-E Performance Evaluations pending patch schedules.
Wednesday:s Solo Cash Cup - Round 2, Console Solo Cash Cup - Round 2, Solo Hype Cup
Thursdays: Lightning Cups
Fridays: Zero Build Fridays - Trios (cash prizing), Quick Cash Cup - Trios
Saturdays: Duos Cash Cup - Round 1, Duos Hype Cup
Sundays: Duos Cash Cup - Round 2, Duos Hype Cup
Zero Build Fridays will introduce weekly prized events with two rounds in a single day for Zero Build competitions that run alongside our single-round Quick Cash Cup. The Console Solo Cash Cups will run alongside our Solo Cash Cups, so console players will have to decide which Cup they’d like to compete in.
2-Week Daily Lightning Cups
From July 25 - August 7, you’ll have the opportunity to compete in daily tournaments with varying modes and rules. During these two weeks, there will be no prized competitions, only our Lightning Cups. We’ll be using this time to take a break before heading into the FNCS Finals.
Brazil Server Region Only
For our players in the Brazil server region, we’re thrilled to announce we’ll be holding two Creator Cups each month - one Zero Build and one with building - with each Cup holding a $10,000 prize pool. We are looking for additional ways for players and teams to compete! Make sure to follow @FNCompetitiveBR on Twitter for more details about the format, rules, prize pool information, and more.
Additionally, the PlayStation Cup prizing will be redistributed in the region - more details on that coming later as well.
More Competitive Events Coming
We still have even more competitive events for you to play in including our Console Champions Cup, PlayStation Cups, Cosmetic Cups, and other competitions we can’t share just yet. We’ll be sure to keep you updated on all the competitive events happening as soon as we can.
Twitch Rivals Zero Build Monthly Series
When you aren’t playing, you can tune in to more Fortnite action with Twitch Rivals Zero Build tournaments. Starting on June 10, these monthly Zero Build tournaments will feature some of your favorite Twitch creators from all over the world. How will the new season impact the competition? You’ll have to watch the action only on Twitch Rivals to find out. We’ll have more information to share at a later date on future competitions, prizes, and other surprises.
