Competitors Are Locked & Loaded for the 2025 Fortnite Global Championship!
It’s all been leading up to this! The 2025 Fortnite Global Championship — where the best Fortnite players in the world will compete for the lion’s share of over $2,001,000 — takes place September 6 and 7.
Breakout artist d4vd is ushering in the Global Championship with “Locked & Loaded (Official Fortnite Anthem).” It’s available now on YouTube, Spotify, and streaming platforms worldwide, and will be in the Fortnite Shop as a Jam Track starting September 4 at 8 PM ET!
Global Championship Breakdown
The 33 qualified trios fought hard over the course of the year to earn their spot on the stage at LDLC Arena in Lyon-Décines, France. Here, they’ll battle to earn the most points over 12 matches to earn the title of World Champions.
Scoring
Every elimination in a match will be worth 4 points. Match placement will grant points as follows:
- Victory Royale: 65 points
- 2nd: 54 points
- 3rd: 48 points
- 4th: 44 points
- 5th: 40 points
- 6th: 36 points
- 7th: 33 points
- 8th: 30 points
- 9th: 27 points
- 10th: 24 points

Global Championship Twitch Drops
The Global Championship takes place 10 AM to 3:30 PM ET (4 PM to 9:30 PM CET) each day on September 6 and 7. Catch every moment of the action over at twitch.tv/fortnite or twitch.tv/brasil_fortnite, both being places you can earn Twitch Drops! Here’s how it works:
- FNCS Lion Crest Spray: Watch for 60 minutes cumulative on Day 1 of the Fortnite Global Championship on September 6.
- FNCS Knuckles Emoticon: Watch for 60 minutes cumulative on Day 2 of the Fortnite Global Championship on September 7.

Watching On-Site?
If you’re attending the Global Championship in-person, please note that the majority of the commentary will be in French inside the arena. Venue doors open at 2 PM CET for guests to enter on both September 6 and 7. Merchandise will also be available for purchase on-site across both days, so you can rep FNCS in style!
Content Creation - Locked & Loaded
Content creators in the Support-A-Creator (SAC) program will be able to host and monetize VODs on YouTube containing audio from the “Locked & Loaded (Official Fortnite Anthem)” Jam Track from September 4 at 8 PM ET to October 4 at 8 PM ET. No takedown notifications should occur for these VODs during this time.

- IMPORTANT: When uploading the content to YouTube, be sure to upload it as Unlisted or Public. If you upload it as Private, it’s possible you could receive a monetization claim on your video.

Not in SAC? Don’t worry, you can still share your Fortnite experiences containing the music. However, you will not be able to monetize this content on YouTube.
