How to Install Fortnite (and Redeem Your Cosmetics)

The PlayStation 5 Console – Cobalt Star Bundle does not come with Fortnite pre-installed, but getting the game set up is easy-breezy. After you’ve powered on your console for the first time and gone through the initial start-up process, just head to the PlayStation Store to download Fortnite for free!

The Gold-painted Krackle Boost, Gold-painted Stellar Discotheque Wheels, and Gold-painted Stella Trail.

 
While you’re in the PlayStation Store, this is also a good time to redeem the cosmetics included with your brand-new console. The 12-digit code needed to obtain these will be on a small piece of paper alongside your console’s printed materials!

If you’re unsure how to redeem a code on the PlayStation 5, here’s a quick rundown:

1. Head to the PlayStation Store on your PlayStation 5 console.

2. Once inside the PlayStation Store, select the icon towards the top-right corner of the screen that looks like three dots.

3. This will open a dropdown menu. From the available options, select “Redeem Code.”

4. Carefully enter your 12-digit code and select “Redeem.”

5. Your cosmetics have been applied to your PlayStation Network account! Make sure your PlayStation Network account is connected to your Epic account to see your cosmetics in Fortnite.
