Fortnite Competitive fans,
What a tremendous end to the FNCS season we had this past weekend. Congratulations to our FNCS Champions across each region!

Now that we’ve capped off the FNCS for this season, that also means we’ve got our final list of qualified captains for the FNCS Grand Royale. Captains, you’ve only got a few more days left before competition starts again with the Grand Royale, make sure you’ve got your Trio ready.
We mentioned in our previous blog we’d have some more details regarding activities leading up to Grand Royale. We’re glad to announce we’ll have the Grand Royale Community Cup following the first weekend of Qualifiers. We’re also excited to host our first ever Hype Hour show where we’ll discuss the past year of FNCS events, the Grand Royale, and a sneak peek of what to expect in 2022. We’ll have more on each of these items down below, but first let’s just recap the Grand Royale schedule.
November 11-13: Middle East Grand Royale Qualifiers
November 12-14: All other regions’ Grand Royale Qualifiers
November 16: NA East, NA West, and Brazil regions’ Grand Royale Community Cup
November 17: Oceania, Asia, Middle East, and Europe regions’ Grand Royale Community Cup
November 19: Hype Hour Show - Broadcast on our English channels
November 19-20: Middle East Grand Royale Finals
November 20-21: All other regions’ Grand Royale Finals
Grand Royale Qualifiers
As a reminder, here’s a brief breakdown of the Qualifiers. Everyone will start in the same session, the top 33 teams will advance to the Victory Path, while the remaining teams will have three more opportunities to make it to the Victory Path. Once on the Victory Path, all you need to do is win a game and you’ve qualified for the Finals. Players who reach the Finals will have two days of competition to earn a share of the $5M prize pool.
We won’t be broadcasting the Qualifier sessions, so be sure to check out your favorite player or streamer who is covering all the action.
Hype Hour Show
Tune in on Friday, November 19 for the Hype Hour, our first broadcast show that will recap our entire year, run interviews with players, provide analysis from your favorite casters, and include a brief announcement regarding Fortnite Competitive in 2022. You are not going to want to miss this! Tune in Friday, November 19 at 3PM ET (9PM CET / 12PM PT). Won’t be able to watch it live? We’ll have a VOD available immediately following the broadcast for anyone who missed it.

Grand Royale Broadcast
We’ll be broadcasting both days of the Grand Royale Finals on November 20 and 21 across all our regular broadcast channels (see the full list below). You can catch the Hype Hour, the EU, NAE, and NAW, or the Brazil broadcast in Party Royale throughout November 19-21. See the full broadcast schedule below.
We’ve made some additional improvements to both the live broadcast and the player experience in-game for two-day events. For Grand Royale and all two-day events moving forward, scores on broadcast and in-game will reflect the team’s current points, and not just the points they have earned on the current day.
