Hey competitors,
The past few seasons we’ve run a couple tests with different Creative Arena modes including Arena Box Fight and Arena: FFA. Our goal is to provide players with more Creative competitive experiences beyond core Battle Royale modes. These previous tests were instrumental in curating future competitive experiences that we can provide at scale. These tests continue with Arena Zone Wars.
Arena Zone Wars begins today, August 10! Jump into the familiar mode and start earning Hype. We’ve partnered with one of the OG Zone Wars map creators, Enigma, to create a Duos mode with 32 total players.
Our current plans for Creative Arena modes will include some of the more traditional competitive games made in Creative that supplement the core Fortnite competitive skills - aiming, building, and editing. Our aim is to have a regular cadence of other competitive offerings for Arena.
