Arena
In Chapter 4 Season 2, we plan to continue offering these Arena playlists:
Battle Royale
- Solo
- Duos
- Trios
Hype Reset
Jump into Arena and earn some Hype! Your Hype has reset back to 0 with the new Season's launch. Similar to last Season, by reaching Contender Rank, eligible players will be able to compete in cash-prized tournaments throughout the Season.
Players will be required to achieve Champion League in Battle Royale Arena to be eligible to compete in FNCS Major 2. However, we will also offer Zero Build competitions that are open to all players and do not require any Arena ranking to participate.
FNCS Major 2
Find your Duos partner and prepare for FNCS Major 2 to begin on April 13, 2023! FNCS Major 2 will not be using the Divisional Cup system, in an effort to allow more players to compete in FNCS. We’ve learned a lot from the Divisional Cup system and may bring it back in a future Season with a new, improved format.
For each weekly FNCS Major 2 competition, the top 200 highest points-earning duos from Round 1 will advance to that week’s Round 2 session. Following the conclusion of the Round 2 session, the top 50 highest points-earning duos from each region will advance to that week’s FNCS Major 2 Weekly Finals.
Each duo that participates in the furthest round and/or stage reached for a given weekly FNCS Major 2 competition will be awarded Series Points based on their results from that week. The top 40 duos (in other words, the 40 duos who’ve earned the highest cumulative Series Points on the Series Leaderboard across Weeks 1, 2, and 3) will qualify for the FNCS Major 2 Grand Finals.

Where can I find the tournament schedule?
You can find the tournament schedule on our website at fortnite.com/competitive under “Calendar.” You can also find your local region’s start times in the ‘Compete’ tab in-game.
I heard about the new NA-Central server region. What does this server region mean for competitive events?
Competitive events will no longer be hosted on the NA-East and NA-West server regions. Instead, tournaments in North America will run on the NA-Central servers located in Dallas, Texas, USA.
Players will still be able to view and queue up for upcoming competitive events while set to the NA-East or NA-West server region, but the event will be routed to the NA-Central servers.
Can I compete in multiple regions this Season?
You will only be able to compete in one region’s competitive offerings this season.
For clarity, once a player participates in a region in any competitive event, they will be locked to that region for any subsequent session for that event in Chapter 4 Season 2.
Can Cabined Accounts compete in Fortnite tournaments?
Players with a Cabined Account are not eligible to participate in, or receive any prizes in connection with Fortnite tournaments. To learn more, visit the Cabined Accounts FAQ.
How many weeks of competition will there be this Season?
We plan to host ten weeks of competitions throughout Chapter 4 Season 2.
Can I switch teammates between FNCS weeks?
Yes, you can swap teammates between FNCS weeks as long as all participating players are eligible for FNCS.
Can I swap to different accounts during FNCS?
No. Attempting to use an alternate account during the same FNCS session may result in disqualification.
