Ranked and Competitive
Chapter 4 Season 4 Ranked starts now and similarly to Ranked Season Zero, your rank will, among other factors, be an eligibility requirement for Epic-hosted tournaments. This includes tournaments for cosmetic prizes like FNCS Community Cups, as well as tournaments for cash prizes such as Console Champions Cup.

Rank Reset
As previously announced, everyone’s rank has been reset in Chapter 4 Season 4 Ranked to provide a fresh start for all players.
Similarly to Season Zero, you’ll only need to play one Ranked match in Chapter 4 Season 4 to have your rank revealed (one match per Battle Royale and Zero Build). Your performance in your first match does not determine your initial rank placement. Rather, it reveals your rank and then updates your rank progress bar based on your performance in the match.
2023 FNCS Global Championship
The 2023 FNCS Global Championship will be hosted during Chapter 4 Season 4! Want to be there and witness players compete live? Secure your spot in the arena by purchasing a ticket at fn.gg/tickets.

Competitive Fortnite FAQ
Have additional questions about competitive Fortnite? Check out our FAQ below or see our rules library.
Where can I find the tournament schedule and rules library?
You can find the tournament schedule and rules library at fortnite.com/competitive under “Calendar,” and “Rules & Guidelines.” You can also find your local region’s start time for a certain tournament in the “Compete” tab in-game.
Can I compete in multiple regions this Season?
Once a player participates in a region in a competitive event, that player will be locked to that region for all following sessions of that event for the season. As an example, a player who participates in the EU Duos Cash Cup will only be able to play the remaining Duos Cash Cup sessions in EU for the rest of the season. If the same player participates in the NA Solo Victory Cash Cup, they would then be region-locked to NA for all remaining Solo Victory Cash Cups during the season, and so on.
What is the best way to report a suspected cheater in tournaments?
Please report any suspicious activity in our official Tournament Support Discord server and through the in-game reporting tools. You can also use the Discord server to report any tournament issues or bugs experienced during tournament gameplay.
Good luck in Chapter 4 Season 4, competitors!
