Fortnite Gift Cards: A New Way to Buy V-Bucks, Games, and More!

Heya folks,

Starting this June, we’re rolling out new Fortnite gift cards! Use Fortnite gift cards to buy a wide variety of things, anywhere that uses Epic’s payment system. This includes: 

  • Fortnite V-Bucks, Fortnite Crew, and Packs

  • Epic Games Store games, DLCs, and add-ons

  • fab.com content (for creators)
     

Fortnite gift cards will be available at retailers for $15 USD, $30 USD, $50 USD, $100 USD, or a custom amount from $15 to $150 USD.

To use a Fortnite gift card, scan its QR code and click the link, or head to epicgames.com/redeem and add to your Epic account balance. You can then spend your balance on the Epic Games Store, Fortnite on mobile or PC, and more.

Fortnite Gift Card to Get V-Bucks

Fortnite gift cards will replace V-Bucks cards over time, and will be released to different regions in the months ahead. This also includes regions that didn't have V-Bucks cards previously! We’ll be starting with these regions in June:

  • Austria

  • Belgium

  • France

  • Germany

  • Ireland

  • Italy

  • Portugal

  • Spain

  • The Netherlands

  • United Kingdom

  • United States of America


V-Bucks cards may still be available in your region or local retailers while we’re in the process of rolling out the new Fortnite gift cards. You can continue redeeming purchased V-Bucks cards at fortnite.com/vbuckscard.


Buying V-Bucks

Buying V-Bucks with the new Fortnite gift card? If you purchase V-Bucks on a platform that supports Fortnite Shared Wallet, they will be available on any other platform that supports Fortnite Shared Wallet. Just make sure you’ve connected your platform accounts to your Epic account! These platforms include:

  • PlayStation

  • Xbox

  • PC

  • Mobile

  • Cloud gaming services


Nintendo devices do not support Fortnite Shared Wallet, so V-Bucks purchased using your account balance will not show up on your Nintendo device. However, if you purchase items in the web Item Shop — or another platform where you play Fortnite — those items will be available in your Locker across all platforms.


Use a Fortnite Gift Card, Unlock the GHOST Monks Outfit

Until December 31, 2026, you’ll get the GHOST Monks Outfit in Fortnite the first time you redeem the new Fortnite gift card to your Epic account!

To receive the Outfit, make sure the Epic account you’re redeeming the card to is the same Epic account you use to play Fortnite. This GHOST Monks offer is available only in regions where gift cards are sold.

Heads-up! You will not receive the GHOST Monks Outfit by using our older V-Bucks card. You must be redeeming the NEW Fortnite gift card. GHOST Monks may be available for purchase in the Fortnite Shop at a later date beyond December 31, 2026.


Get Epic Rewards!

Fortnite gift cards add to your Epic account balance so you can make purchases. When you make a purchase in Fortnite, Rocket League, or Fall Guys using Epic’s payment system on PC, iPhone, iPad, Android, or the web — you’ll get 20% back in Epic Rewards. These 20% rewards in Epic's games are here to stay.

For all other Epic Games Store purchases you make using Epic’s payment system, you’ll get 20% back through August 31, 2025 — and our standard 5% afterwards. This includes games from other companies that are distributed through the Epic Games Store.
