The FNCS Invitational 2022 in Raleigh, North Carolina, USA, is just around the corner and will be our return to an official Fortnite in-person experience. We are excited to showcase and celebrate some of the best players in the world on the FNCS Invitational stage competing for a share of the $1,000,000 prize pool.

With the return to an in-person event, we are continuing to prioritize the health and safety of our players, fans, and staff. Medical professionals will be on-site throughout the event monitoring and assisting with player health and wellness needs, including voluntary COVID testing for any players exhibiting symptoms or wishing to test before or during competition. If it’s determined that a player is unable to participate in the event for health reasons including testing positive for COVID, we will have 20 Emergency Substitute Players on standby to act as a replacement on a first-come, first-serve basis.
A team featuring an Emergency Substitute Player will have the prize breakdown split evenly based on the number of matches played by each player in the team. As an example, a team that has Player 1 participating in 100% of total matches, Player 2 participating in 50% of total matches, and the Emergency Substitute Player (Player 3) participating in 50% of total matches, would lead to a 50% - 25% - 25% prize pool percentage split.
If an invited player is unable to compete on stage for health reasons after traveling to the event, they will still be awarded the minimum prize of $500 for attending with the intent to compete.
