Fortnite BR’s next Season arrives November 29 and we’re kicking things off with the Road to Unreal, a series of Ranked Cups in the lead-up to the Duos Battle Royale $1,000,000 Unreal Cup! 

Taking place December 20, anyone who reaches Unreal in Battle Royale by this date qualifies and will compete for the top cut of over $1,000,000 USD.

Road to Unreal - Ranked Cups

There’ll be at least one Ranked Cup every day from December 5 to December 21. Reach leaderboard milestones from Dec 8–14 to earn prizes:

Ranked Updates for Next Season

We’re making some adjustments to how rank progression works next Season:

  • In Battle Royale and Zero Build, placing in the top 30% of players or teams will now earn more progress, with a significant bonus for the top 5%. Players or teams in the bottom 40% will lose slightly more rank than before.
  • In Reload and Reload Zero Build, it will now take more progress to reach Unreal from Bronze, but the amount of progress lost when eliminated will be slightly reduced.

What’s Next for Fortnite Competitive

Tournament Offerings

Next Season, compete in Duos Ranked Cups (beyond the Road to Unreal), Duos Victory Cups, and Duos Shop Cups. There’ll be 17 Victory Cups from Dec 5–Dec 19 with $810,000 in total prizing!

Fortnite Mobile Series

Each month starting in December, participate in multiple sessions of the Solo, touch-only Mobile Series. Top players in each region compete for cash in multiple single-lobby Qualifiers.

FNCS 2026

The Fortnite Championship Series 2026 begins with the FNCS Trial on January 31! Duos will be placed in a Division based on their results, then Division 1 duos will compete in Majors where they can qualify for a LAN… including the 2026 Fortnite Global Championship! Stay tuned for more FNCS 2026 details in December.

You can celebrate the return of FNCS with the Chaos Champion FNCS Cup on December 1. In this Solo BR tournament, the top points-earning competitors in each region will unlock the Chaos Champion Bundle featuring the Chaos Champion Outfit.
