LEGO® Fortnite: Get Cookin’ in Brick Life and Hunt for Oro’s Treasure in Odyssey!

LEGO® Fortnite is set for an awesome rest of April with new additions coming to both Brick Life and Odyssey!

In Brick Life’s Get Cookin’ update — arriving April 22 — grab some ingredients and see what delicious delicacies you can mix together! Plus, use your newfound cooking skills while working at Durrr Burger and RoboRoll Sushi — where you can now get a well-earned promotion! But before you do all this, take a Fishing Rod and see what awaits in the waters of Brick Bay. A great way to get fresh ingredients!

Over in Odyssey, assemble your friends and search every nook and cranny for Golden Chests in Oro’s Treasure. The treasure hunt begins April 22!

Get Fishin’!

Brick Bay has plenty of fish in the sea. And the rivers. And the pools! To start fishing, all you have to do is approach one of these bodies of water and cast out your Fishing Rod. Get Fishing Rods from barrels or the Fishing Shop, now open to the public! (Going pro? You can also get a fishing job here.)



After casting the rod, patience is key. Hold the rod steady ‘til its bobber sinks under the water, meaning you’ve got a bite! When this happens, reel in the creature reel-y fast before it gets away.

There are tons of different fish to collect across Brick Bay — from the neigh-borly Seahorse to the mythical Unicorn Fish. Try to catch every kind!

What to do with your collection? Place your finds in a fish tank and keep them as a pet. Mount them in your living room. Gift them to a friend. Sell them at the Fishing Shop. Fry them up as a delicious snack. It’s all up to you! 



Speaking of frying fish, that leads us to our next topic…

Get Cookin’!

Even in Brick Bay, there’s nothing more satisfying than a fresh meal — so grab some ingredients, start sizzlin’, and share your culinary concoctions with friends! 

But before you begin your edible excursion, you’re gonna need a way to prepare some grub. You can find four different Cooktops throughout the city, each perfect for creating different delicacies:

• Oven – Perfect for tasty treats like Cookies and Key Lime Pie, as well as classic favorites like Mac & Cheese and Fries.

• Stove – Flip some Pancakes, throw together an Omelette, assemble a Breakfast Sandwich, and a whole lot more!

• Blender – Where all the best beverages are made, including Iced Tea, Chocolate Milkshakes, Fruit Punch, and Melon Soda!

• Cutting Board – Suitable for more than just chopping up veggies. Piece together a BLT, go behind Peely’s back with a Nana Split, or construct a Seafood Tower. 

Just like a LEGO set, cooking is a lot easier if you’ve got instructions to follow — and every dish you can make in Brick Bay has its own recipe! Want a Birthday Cake for that special occasion? Combine Milk, Eggs, Flour, and Sugar in an Oven. Cravin’ a Fish Sandwich? First, catch any fish, then pair it with some Bread and any veggie on the Stove. 

You can encounter new recipes throughout Brick Bay, so keep your eyes peeled for tasty tip-offs. The best chefs don’t just cook by the book, however. They experiment! To learn new recipes, try out different combinations of ingredients to see what delightful dishes you can create.

There’s no dish without the ingredients!

You’re gonna need some culinary skills if you’re gonna rustle up that dish you've always dreamed of. To get that perfect result, watch your timing and take your creation off the heat at just the right moment. If you move your eyes off the pan for just a few seconds, you might end up with something very, very crispy…

Get Workin’!

Speaking of culinary expertise: Durrr Burger and RoboRoll Sushi now offer promotions (and some bricktastic perks!) to talented employees. 

While you’re hard at work, look for customers with special requests. Ensure they walk away happy, and you’ll be recognized with Job Experience and Creds! Once you earn enough XP, your manager will approach you with a special task to test your skills in the workplace. Complete it and you’ll earn a promotion! 

You can be promoted up to five times in each job, with rewards every time you go up the ladder. For example, as you work your way up the Durrr Burger ranks, you’ll get the Durrr Stripe Sofa and Durrr Stripe Bed for your home.



If you’re looking for even more stuff to do, the people of Brick Bay have you covered! In case you missed it, the Town Square now has a Task Board. It’s packed with requests from people across the city who need help — lend them a hand for Creds!

LEGO Fortnite Odyssey Updates

Oro’s Treasure

Golden King Oro, a former pirate king of the Lost Isles, is trying to rebuild his wealth in all the wrong ways. Also known as Rebel Oro, his followers have banded together and set up camps full of precious loot in Golden Chests!

How to stop Oro’s plunder? Loot his loot! It’s up to you and your friends to find Oro’s Gold Chests and defeat his fiendish forces. You’ll be guided by three Quests — complete them for new Chest recipes:

• Find 2 Golden Chests to unlock The Antique Trunk recipe.

• Find 5 Golden Chests to unlock The Azure Trunk recipe.

• Find 10 Golden Chests to unlock The Golden Trunk recipe.

All three Quests will be available from April 22 until May 5, 2025, at 9 AM ET. If you’re lucky, a butterfly just might lead you to one of the Golden Chests!
